Job Overview
The Global Communications team is responsible for telling the story of how Coursera is shaping the future of work and education, and transforming lives through access to high-quality, job-relevant education. The team is a nimble, high-impact, and globally distributed group that works with key business stakeholders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to tell the right stories to the right audiences at the right time.
As Director, Enterprise PR & Communications, you will lead global PR & communications strategy and day-to-day execution for Coursera's Enterprise segment, working across our Business, Government, and Campus verticals to shape stories about equal access to opportunity in the digital and AI economy, cross-sector collaboration, and the future of work and education. You will be responsible for crafting compelling new narratives, driving earned media coverage and speaking opportunities, and leading high-stakes GTM announcements across a range of enterprise and corporate initiatives, including partnership and product announcements, thought leadership, speaking opportunities and bylines, and supporting collaboration efforts with global coalitions.
Reporting to the VP of Global Communications, you will be responsible for advising and partnering with global Enterprise leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across Enterprise Marketing, and working with the broader PR team to drive our thought leadership and generate demand for our enterprise offerings. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with leading coalitions, employers, campuses, and government customers to influence the communications strategies, research efforts, and tactics Coursera uses to reach learners around the world. In addition to external partners, you will work closely with a cross-functional team from C-suite leadership, product, sales, customer success, and data science, as well as with peers across communications and marketing, including regional communications leads to extend global stories to countries around the world.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and creative thinker, a quick learner, and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and highly cross-functional environment. They also have a passion for Coursera’s mission and exceptional writing, cross-cultural communication, multi-tasking, and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate should be interested in learning about other cultures and building and maintaining subject matter expertise in a fast-changing industry that’s fundamentally reshaping how people learn and work around the world.

The role is fully remote and US-based – you will have global access to WeWork and occasional travel for events and tours will be required.

The range listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Salary is just one component of Coursera’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for a bonus program and equity in the form of RSU’s.
A number of factors are taken into account when determining pay, which includes: job level, location, training/education, business need, skill set and internal equity.
