Job Overview:

The Sales Enablement Manager: Instructional Design & Curricula is responsible for creating and delivering programs to upskill sales managers, account executives, account managers, customer success managers, and other key roles within the revenue team.  Examples include onboarding, manager development, and product certifications. You will be a key driver in conducting needs analysis of these key audiences and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining content to support key curricula paths and individual coaching/development. In addition, you will act as a liaison and field coach in your region, engaging with local sales management and serving as the eyes/ears of enablement in the region.

This role reports to the Revenue Operations team within Coursera’s Enterprise Solutions. The Enterprise Solutions team serves global organizations, including leading companies, governments, and nonprofits, who seek to upskill or retrain their workforce with the world’s best education. This team is made up of three sub-teams: Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Strategy & Operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting needs analyses to clarify behavioral gaps and solutions.
  • Building and running onboarding, partnering with leaders to engage new hires and reduce time to productivity.
  • Creating role specific paths for salespeople, leaders, CSMs and others w/specialized roles in the sales process.
  • Supporting SMEs converting information into compelling training. 
  • Ensuring training modules are current and easily accessible. All training modules will need to maintain alignment to the sales process, methodology, trends, and product. This role also works to drive content usage in onboarding, everboarding, and situational coaching.
  • Partnering with SEM (Process, Tools, Analytics) to measure curricula impact.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Sales Enablement, Sales, RevOps or a related role within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional systems design for sales roles. I.e., ability to apply concepts of adult learning theory within training
  • Experience developing multi-modality training (ILT, vILT, eLearning, video…) using authoring and administration tools and best practices for a sales audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with global sales teams and adapting enablement materials for different regions.
  • Previous experience working with enablement of sales managers.
  • Previous experience designing onboarding programs with measurable success.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and using visuals in an instructional context.

Compensation: 

Coursera offers competitive pay and equitable compensation practices. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The targeted hiring base salary range for this role is between $104,800-$131,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
