Job Overview
The Design & Research teams play a crucial role in Coursera’s success by gathering learner and educator insights and translating them into recommendations that help Coursera achieve a seamless experience across its platform.
As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead the design strategy and execution for a major product or feature area within the Learning Content Experience. You’ll collaborate across multiple pods and partner closely with product, engineering, research, and data science teams to craft learner and educator experiences that are cohesive, accessible, and impactful.
Your work will involve creating clarity from ambiguity and translating complex problems into simple, elegant, and inclusive solutions that scale globally. Our goal is to make education accessible to all, and we need exceptional designers like you to help realize this vision.

Compensation:
Coursera offers competitive pay and fair compensation practices across all regions. Job titles may span multiple career levels, and the targeted hiring base salary range for this role in Canada is $140,000 - $175,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, transferable skills, business needs, and location. This range may be adjusted over time and may include eligibility for variable pay, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
